John Dietrich

John Dietrich is a Lecturer of Marketing and Sales studies at Arizona State University, and is the co-author of Professional Selling In The 21st Century, 7 Ways, 7 Times. He has provided business development, sales, and marketing consulting to several national firms.

Additionally, Dietrich is the former Senior VP of Marketing and Business Development for one of the largest engineering companies in the United States. In that capacity Dietrich lead the marketing team to five national marketing excellence awards, including "Best In Show"...the most coveted and respected marketing honor in the country.

In 2015 John coached Arizona State's sales team in the International Collegiate Sales Competition (ICSC) in Orlando, hosted by Florida State University. In that tournament of the top 60 + schools in the country, his team ranked # 4 in the overall competition, and # 1 for "Best new school to the competition." In 2018, Dietrich led Arizona State University to # 9 out of 80 universities at the ICSC competition. Additionally, Dietrich led ASU's sales team to win 1st place at the 2018 Arizona Collegiate Sales Competition (ACSC), as well as 1st place at the 2016 Liberty Mutual competition in Houston.

Dietrich was named the 2018 WP Carey School of Business Outstanding Teacher for the Grad Program.
