Gunnery Sgt. Rubio
Gunnery Sergeant Rubio is an active duty Marine stationed in Dover, New Jersey, assigned to Golf Company 2nd Battalion 25th Marines. Gunnery Sergeant Rubio joined the Marine Corps in 1988 and has been involved with the Toys for Tots program since 1999. He served in Desert Storm/Desert Shield and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Gunnery Sergeant Rubio has served as a spokesman for Toys for Tots, attending many public events to kick off collection campaigns, participating in photo shoots and doing media interviews to promote the program. He also has worked with volunteers to collect and distribute toys and has witnesses firsthand the happy reactions of people receiving the toys.
